Ruta Molinar

Great route to start hiking or to enjoy with the family. The itinerary combines the varied historical heritage of Gordexola with trails that cross the forests.

The route starts from Plaza Molinar, the epicenter of Gordexola, and heads to the Herrerias river bed through the Ibarra region, between hamlets, palaces such as Gordogona, and tower houses like Ibargüen. At this point, after crossing a cattle grid, the only slight ascent segment begins along a track in excellent conditions, which will allow you to gain a few meters of altitude to enjoy a superb panoramic view of Gordexola.

At kilometer 3.6, we will follow a path that takes a comfortable route surrounded by pine and oak forests. Complete relaxed section taking us us back to the center of Gordexola following the bed of a stream until we find the majestic Oxirando Palace.

We will return to the end point of the Roman road from Zubiete, after passing through the Ubieta Palace.
