Nous commençons l'itinéraire à l'église de San Vicente de Sodupe pour rejoindre le bidegorri (piste cyclable) parallèle à la rivière Kadagua en direction de La Quadra, Zaramillo et Arbuio. Dans ce quartier d'Alonsotegi, la piste cyclable se termine, nous rejoignons donc la route principale, avec très peu de circulation. Une fois au centre d'Alonsotegi, nous traversons le pont qui mène de l'autre côté du Kadagua et continuons en direction de la région de Kastrexana, où commence l'ascension du mont Eretza (887 m).

We start the route at the church of San Vicente de Sodupe to reach the bidegorri (bike lane) parallel to the Kadagua River towards La Quadra, Zaramillo and Arbuio. In this district of Alonsotegi, the bike lane ends, so we join the main road, with very little traffic. Once in the center of Alonsotegi, we cross the bridge that leads to the other side of the Kadagua and continue towards the Kastrexana region, where the ascent of Mount Eretza (887 m) begins.

We leave behind the Ermita de Santa Águeda (hermitage), after which an invaluable descent challenges us to make way for the actual ascent through 100% mountainous landscapes. A demanding itinerary that compensates for the effort with the beauty of the environment and the satisfaction of reaching this incomparable summit, which offers us the best views of Sodupe and the neighboring valleys.

Iniciaremos la ruta en la iglesia de San Vicente de Sodupe para incorporarnos al bidegorri paralelo al río Kadagua en dirección a La Quadra, Zaramillo y Arbuio. En este barrio de Alonsotegi finaliza la senda ciclable, por lo que nos incorporaremos a la carretera general, de muy poco tráfico. Una vez en el centro de Alonsotegi, cruzaremos el puente hacia el otro lado del Kadagua y continuaremos en dirección a la zona de Kastrexana, donde comenzará el ascenso al monte Eretza (887 metros).

Dejaremos atrás la ermita de Santa Águeda, tras lo cual nos espera un inapreciable descenso que dará paso a la ascensión propiamente dicha por parajes 100% de montaña.
